                Injection-molding of protein-based and polyester-based polymers for packaging.

SCIENTIFIC & TECHNICAL EXPERTISE   

1.      Polymer Engineering: Extrusion film blowing, extrusion blow moulding, extrusion casting, extrusion foaming, thermoforming, injection molding with 
        a certificate from Japan Steel Work Company, compression-molding,  intensive mixing, Banbury mixing and two-roll milling. 

2.      Polymer Chemistry: General polymer synthesis, especially addition polymerization, condensation polymerization and polymer modification, 
        such as modified starch and protein, rubber vulcanization. 

3.      Polymer Physics: Mechanical properties testing, LS (light scattering), GPC, DMA, TMA, DSC, TGA, XRD, SEM, and TEM. 

4.      Food Science: Food safety, nutrition, processing, analysis, and packaging.  

5.      Analytical Chemistry: FTIR, UV, NMR, GC, HPLC, and elemental analysis. 

6.      Biochemistry: Electrophoresis and microscopy.

7.      Biology: Microorganism culture technology, cell biology, plant and soil science.

8.      Computer: CAE (Moldflow) for injection molding, Origin, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PhotoShop, SAS, AutoCAD 2007

9.      Analog and Digital Circuits: The ability to construct electronic devices to aid scientific experiments. Can use Assembly and C++ languages in C++ Builder to program application software.
