    Research Interests

    We are interested in the methodology development for analytical mass spectrometry (MS), including new principles, new technologies and the application to proteomics, metabolomics and chemical biology.

    (1) MALDI matrix and dissociation methods.

    (2) New ESI technologies.

    (3) MALDI imaging.

    (4) Mass spectrometric data analysis and bioinformatics.

    (5) Identification and functional studies of protein posttranslational modifications (including fatty acylationand

    phosphorylation).

    (6) Development of mass spectrometric techniques for rapid and accurate identification of microorganisms.

    (7) Metabolism/synthesisand regulation of triglycerides.
